Lecture on ‘A Prelusion to Vedanta and Arab Culture’

Aligarh : Prof Mohd Sanullah, Department of Arabic, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) delineated Indian philosophy, the systems of thought and reflections that were developed by the civilizations of the Indian subcontinent—and rejuvenated age old, time tested civilisation ties between India and the Arab world during a online lecture on ‘A Prelusion to Vedanta and Arab Culture’ of the Department of Sanskrit.

“Prof Sanullah elaborated the role of sacred texts, the speculations and philosophies contained in the scriptures, the etymology and nomenclature in the Vedanta and the Arab culture, the major sources of historical texts and metaphysics in them and the main schools of Vedanta”, said Prof H S Acharya, Chairman, Department of Sanskrit.
