Lecture Series “Samutthana- 2023” inaugurated at Sharda University

Sharda School of Business Studies launched a lecture series “Samutthana- 2023”. The series was inaugurated by the former Secretary to the Government of India (IAS Retd) Shankar Agarwal. The inauguration ceremony was started with lamp lighting by Professor Jayanthi Ranjan, Dean, Sharda School of Business Studies, along with guests and other dignitaries.

 

Addressing the gathering, Shankar Agarwal, Former Secretary to the Government of India (IAS Retd) stated “Sharda University as a Temple of Learning and he also inspired the students to utilize the resources available to them inside the university to improve their knowledge, believe in practical/ application based learning and bloom as a beautiful flower under the umbrella of Sharda University”.

He also said the biggest challenges that our country has faced since independence in 1947, like governance, security of the country, food scarcity, economic growth, poverty and unemployment and how our country is moving to be a global leader, overcoming all the shortcomings under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India. He also encouraged students to join service as their career. He asked students to grab every opportunity they get at Sharda University and also suggested they be a risk- taker and be successful entrepreneurs by thinking differently. He also mentioned the 5 important pointers that one should ponder upon to be successful in life, i.e., physical health, mental health, financial health, spiritual health and emotional health.

 

Professor Jayanthi Ranjan, Dean, Sharda School of Business Studies said “All the students of Sharda School of Business Studies were deeply inspired by the experiences shared by Aggarwalji and everybody felt intellectually uplifted. In this lecture series, we will invite such experienced people so that students can learn a lot from them.

 

At the end of the program, coordinator Dr. Rashi Gupta expressed heartfelt gratitude. Students, faculty and teachers were also present on the occasion.
