Leiden University student gets Third prize for Bettina Schmiedler

According to the jury, her thesis was well structured with a fluent writing style. ‘You ask questions that are socially relevant. You more than deserve this Leiden University Thesis Award.’

Schmiedler had previsouly won the Leiden Law School thesis prize.

The Leiden University Thesis Awards were announced on Saturday 11 February at the Dies for alumni. Annetje Ottow presented the prizes in the presence of the nominee’s family and friends and also contributors to the Minerva Alumni Fund Year 1957/1961/1965, which funded the thesis prizes. The first prize was won by Everest Gromoll.
