Leiden University Team Secures European Runner-Up Position in Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition
The finals of the European Round took place at the Austrian Constitutional Court. The Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition is organised by the International Institute of Space Law (IISL) across five regions: Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, North America and Europe. The winning team from each regional round competes in the World Finals, held during the International Astronautical Congress and judged by sitting members of the International Court of Justice. The competition focuses on space law and public international law. This year’s case concerned protecting the dark and quiet skies and freedom of scientific investigation. The institute is very proud of the students who participated. Congratulations on your excellent performance!
