Leiden University Welcomes Erik Danen as the New Dean of the Graduate School of Science

The Graduate School of Science starts 2024 with a new Dean. The Faculty Council appointed Erik Danen for the coming four years. He succeeds Eric Eliel, who has held the position since May 2020.

Erik Danen has been working for Leiden University for a long time. He started his tenure track at LACDR in 2006. In 2018 he was appointed professor of Cancer Drug Target Discovery. In the period 2019 – 2023, Danen was Programme Director of the Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences bachelor’s programme.
