LG’s Rolling Trophy matches begin in Ramban

RAMBAN : Department of Youth Services and Sports, Ramban organized Inter-Zone, District Level LG’s Rolling Trophy matches in the discipline of Cricket at DPL, Ramban under the patronage of Director Youth Services & Sports UT J&K Subash Chander Chibber & Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu, Atul Kumar.

The District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Ramban, Dharamvir Singh coordinated the tournament in which teams from 6 zones were participating whereas PET Arun Sharma was overall in charge of the tournament.

The DYSSO also administered a pledge against drug abuse to participants under the banner of Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan.

Speaking on the occasion, the DYSSO congratulated all the players who had been selected from trial cum selection and reached the next level. He appreciated the staff of Physical Education for selecting outstanding performers from different far-flung panchayats besides performing sports activities in all zones with full enthusiasm. The tournament has to be played at two pools i.e. Pool-A & Pool-B.
