Live streaming of India’s Techade-Chips for Viksit Bharat held at AMU
Aligarh : The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) today made special arrangements for live streaming the foundation stone laying ceremony of the three semiconductor facilities by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, under India’s Techade- Chips for Viksit Bharat mission.
The Prime Minister addressed the youth nationwide at 10:30 AM, marking the foundation stone laying for three semiconductor facilities in the country. This ground breaking initiative aims to foster the growth of semiconductor ecosystems in India, positioning the nation as a key player in the global semiconductor industry.
During the virtual ceremony, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the three semiconductor facilities, which are India’s first Fabrication Facility at the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) in Gujarat, Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facilities in Morigaon (Assam), and Sanand (Gujarat).
For viewing the live streaming, the Aligarh Muslim University made a special arrangement at the Kennedy Hall Auditorium, where the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mohammad Gulrez, the Registrar, Mr. Mohammad Imran (IPS), faculty members, staff, and students were present in large numbers.
Additionally, AMU-run schools also organised the live streaming at their respective venues with their staff and students.
AMU’s STS School, Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged, Abdullah School, Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh AMU City School, Senior Secondary School (Girls), and AMU City Girls’ High School arranged live streaming of the foundation stone laying ceremony, where teachers, students and staff enthusiastically participated and became part of India’s giant leap towards becoming a significant player in the global semiconductor industry.
Notably, India’s Techade signifies the nation’s dedication to embracing the digital age and creating an end-to-end semiconductor ecosystem.
