Live Streaming of Union Budget 2022 at IMS Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: IMS Ghaziabad organized “Live Streaming of Union Budget 2022” for PGDM students on February 01, 2022. The session was conceptualized under the leadership of Director, Dr. Urvashi Makkar to acquaint the students with various aspects of the Union Budget 2022. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Urvashi highlighted that the budget is not just a collection of numbers, but an expression of the values and aspirations for the country.

Talking about the significance of the country’s financial budget, she emphasized that budget proposals have a cascading effect across the economy and impacts every citizen’s economic well-being. She added that as management professionals, it is imperative for the students to develop the ability to understand and analyze the same.

The session witnessed astute discussions by the students on the impact and implications of the announcements on various sectors of the economy. Himanshi Agarwal, Pradyumna Panda and Piyush Shukla were felicitated with Certificate of Appreciation for their keen observations and analysis. Coordinated by Dr. Ajay Patel and Dr. Laxmi Pandey, the session was instrumental in enhancing the understanding of the students on how the government aims to realize the vision of the Prime Minister for macro-economic level growth, micro-economic level all-inclusive welfare, technology enabled development, energy transition, climate action and other relevant aspects.
