LocoNav looks to expand its operations and build on its strategic acquisitions by getting new leadership members on board

New Delhi: LocoNav, a disruptive full-stack fleet-tech startup, today announced the appointment of Samit Srivastava (ex-Jubilant Food Works, Jubilant Life Sciences, HealthKart, Perfetti Van Melle) as CEO – SaaS Global and Chief Business Officer, and Ashish Chawla (ex-OYO) as Head of Strategy. In line with its aggressive expansion and strategic plans and post successful Series B fundraising, LocoNav brings these industry experts on board to realize its vision of democratizing fleet-tech in emerging and high-growth markets, across the globe. The company also recently announced the appointment of Anjali Joshi, former Google VP-Product Management, to its Board of Directors.

Samit Srivastava, who comes with 20+ years of diverse industry experience spanning across FMCG, E-Commerce, Nutrition, Branded Pharma, and QSR, was the Chief Business Officer at Jubilant FoodWorks and prior to that the Vice President and Business Head at Jubilant Life Sciences. He has also spent 14 years at Perfetti Van Melle before he moved to HealthKart as a Senior Vice President.

With over a decade of experience in building businesses, Ashish Chawla co-founded Stichio in 2016. Prior to Stichio, he was part of WEnergy Global in Singapore, where he worked on several business spheres for the company giving him an overview of business development outside India and helping him to build on his expertise in business strategy. He spent over 3 years at OYO across different leadership roles, the most recent being the Chief Customer Experience Officer, South Asia.
