L’Oréal India Awarded EDGE Move Certification For Fostering An Inclusive and Gender Equal Workplace
Mumbai: L’Oréal India has been awarded the reputed EDGE (Economic Dividends for Gender Equality) certification for the fourth term in recognition for its efforts towards creating an inclusive organisational culture with gender equality and diversity at the core. L’Oréal is the only FMCG company to receive the EDGE Move Certificate in India.
The EDGE assessment is the leading business certification for gender equality in the workplace that is universally applicable across industries and countries. It measures where organizations stand with respect to gender balance across their pipeline including pay equity, effectiveness of policies and practices to ensure equitable career flows, as well as inclusiveness of their culture. The certification is distinguished by its rigor and focus on business impact, carrying a 2-year validity.
L’Oréal India has continued to strengthen its policies and employee practices towards equal pay for equivalent work, recruitment and promotion, leadership development – where both men and women have equal access to leadership development opportunities, flexible working and organizational culture – fostering an inclusive workplace culture for both men and women.
