Loughborough University becomes winner of the Whatuni Student Choice Award for Facilities
The WUSCAs are the only awards that are based solely on the views of real students studying in the UK. The Whatuni team verify around 35,000 reviews every year, that have been submitted by students either during on-campus visits or through the Whatuni website.
The reviews give prospective students access to honest, unbiased information when making decisions about what and where they would like to study.
This is the third time Loughborough has taken the top spot in the Facilities category, which celebrates what students really want from their university buildings, services and outdoor spaces.
Loughborough boasts world-class sports training facilities, in addition to state-of-the-art learning facilities including modern laboratories and teaching spaces.
One Whatuni student review from Loughborough stated: “The academic facilities are good and there is always access to Wi-Fi, computers and study spaces. A lot of rooms are free for most of the day. There is lots of support for students, both academically through your school and through the Students’ Union and wider University. There are loads of clubs, societies and activities on campus all the time and everyone is friendly”.
The University also received silver for the ‘Halls and Student Accommodation’ category, in addition to being shortlisted for four other categories at the awards.
