Loughborough University: Boost to sports participation and support to sports start-ups as Loughborough University London and Sport Tech Hub announce partnership
The announcement is part of an ongoing relationship between Loughborough University London and Sport Tech Hub who have worked together since 2017, with an extension of the partnership now agreed until 2023.
Through this agreement, Loughborough University London share their expertise and guidance to ventures through workshops, mentoring, events and pitching opportunities.
As well as this, Sport Tech Hub will have access to the future leaders of sports innovation, through Loughborough University London’s Collaborative Project, Digital Skills programme, Talent+ programme, and Mentoring opportunities.
Loughborough University London has been a long-term support to start-ups in the Sport Tech Hub community, as well as those taking part in its Innovation programme. The partnership will offer start-ups exposure to network of sports leaders, expert advice, and research of the physical activity, sports, and technology sector.
The partnership continues to be seen in action, with some exciting joint initiatives taking place in recent weeks with Loughborough University London and Sports Tech Hub recently sponsoring the Tech and Digital award at London Sport Awards.
