M3M Foundation contributes 1 crore to Haryana CM Relief Fund

 

Gurugram: M3M Foundation, the philanthropic arm of realty developer M3M Group has donated Rupees One Crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in Haryana. The company has been actively supporting construction workers and daily wage earners with food and essentials requirements.

Dr. Payal Kanodia, Trustee, M3M Foundation said, “We are going through extraordinary times, we never thought of. We all need to rise to the occasion and fight this precarious situation together. The government is doing a commendable job in containing the current crisis and it becomes imperative that we stand with them at this moment. We have contributed to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and will continue to support the needy during this hour of need so that everyone has access to essentials.”

M3M Foundation the philanthropic arm of M3M Group is extending support to 5000 daily wage earners and construction workers in Gurugram and Tauru region of Haryana. The relief work is being carried out in Gurugram under its iMPower program. Through this initiative, M3M is providing rice, pulses, vegetables, clean drinking water, and milk for toddlers and growing children. Apart from this, they will also be providing soaps for personal use, washing clothes and handwash. Fumigation and sanitization of the camps are also being undertaken.

Keeping in view of the safety of all, M3M Foundation is providing these items to the volunteers of the iMPower program. They are further distributing the same to all the families in the camps of construction workers. This is being undertaken with proper precautions including wearing masks and gloves, use of sanitizers, etc. The volunteers will also be spreading awareness of social distancing and hand hygiene.
