M3M Foundation, Health Department Gurugram jointly organize free vaccination camp at M3M Urbana, Sector-67, Gurugram

 

Gurugram: Accelerating efforts towards a Covid-free India, M3M Foundation―the philanthropic arm of M3M Group and Health Department, Gurugram jointly organised a free vaccination camp at M3M Urbana in Sector-67, Gurugram. As a result of this endeavor, 392 beneficiaries above 18 years of age received second doses of Covishield vaccine.Beneficiaries could either drive-through or walk-in to the camp to avail the benefits.

Highlighting the role of vaccination as a crucial weapon in the fight against Covid-19, Dr Payal Kanodia, Trustee, M3M Foundation said , “We are grateful for this opportunity to serve the people and we want to thank the Health Department, the social workers, administration and many others who came together to make this vaccination drive-through campaign a success. We believe that such efforts would help India achieve its target of vaccinating the entire population at the earliest so that it finally becomes a Covid-free country.”

In addition to these efforts project team at the other sites are continuously putting their efforts to ensure the vaccination at the labor camps and in addition to the vaccine administered at Urbana a total of 36 labours also got Vaccinated at two iMpower clubs as well.This was done with the support of PHC Fazilpur.

All the participants in the camp strictly adhered to all the Covid protocols such as mask, sanitizers and social distancing. For complete safety, M3M Foundation also made arrangements so that beneficiaries could get their vaccines without stepping out of their cars.

It must be noted that the foundation has been actively playing a leading role in Covid relief measures in Haryana through various initiatives. Under its iMpower program, it also organized “Jan Swasthya Chetna Yatra” ―an awareness-cum-vaccination campaign with the state government in Tauru to provide vaccines to 4k residents of 64 villages recently. This was organised by the foundation with support from Aide et Action (an international development organization) and Health Department, Tauru, Haryana Government.

M3M Foundation has been actively working for the betterment of society with its efforts in improving health, education, livelihood, and environment. During the pandemic, it provided relief to over 2 lakh people across the country and also ensured medical support to the people of Gurugram by establishing a Covid Care Center with the help of district administration.
