MAAC Manifest 2018 brings together the young guns in the Animation and VFX Industry

 

Mumbai: “MAAC Manifest” an Annual Confluence by Maya Academy of Animation and Cinematics, successfully concluded the annual confluence that witnessed participation from over 900 students and experts from animation and VFX industry in Mumbai. Manifest 2018 highlighted the growth of the industry in the recent years and emphasized on various career and growth opportunities in animation and VFX industry. As per KPMG reports, the M&E industry will grow at 13% CAGR to touch Rs 2,660 billion by 2023 and Animation and VFX industry will show strong growth of 15.5% by 2023.

MAAC Manifest is the biggest 3D & VFX seminar series, where students and enthusiasts of animation and VFX industry come together to discuss the trends in the industry. The confluence had a strong line-up of industry experts from 88 Pictures; Mr. Rakesh Patil, Head of Production and Mr. Harshal Kadam, Lighting supervisor. They had an inspiring and interactive talk with the students where they addressed the aspiring students of the industry. MAAC Alumni’s were also an active part of the buzzing animation and VFX industry. Manifest provides students with the opportunity to learn from industry stalwarts as they share recent professional experiences and present case studies from leading projects.
