Madhya Pradesh CM Chouhan launches Madhya Pradesh Innovation Challenge Portal

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the Madhya Pradesh Innovation Challenge Portal designed with the aim of inviting suggestions from officials and employees, compiling, testing and implementing them for Self-Reliand Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that while citizens accepted the challenge of Covid-19, all officers and employees have also contributed significantly in controlling this epidemic while discharging responsibility to the their capacity.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Covid-19 was both a challenge and an opportunity. Prime Minister Shri Modi has given the mantra to create a self-reliant India. For this self-reliant Madhya Pradesh is also very important. Shri Chouhan said that if we receive useful suggestions to make the state self-reliant, it will help a lot in changing the condition of the state. Whether it is the mantra to make the local vocal or to strengthen the cottage industries and MSME sector, it is necessary to achieve self-sufficiency by adopting various measures. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that whether it is the matter of formation of FPO of farmers in Madhya Pradesh or empowering self-help groups, better work has been done so far. Shri Chouhan congratulated the officers and employees for their continuous success for Corona control through concerted efforts while utilizing talent.

Record wheat procurement through mutual coordination

Shri Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh has established an all-time record of wheat procurement. This is the result of the teams of the concerned departments, the hard work of farmers and mutual coordination and dutifulness of all concerned agencies. Shri Chouhan said that the work of labour reforms and amendments in the Mandi Act was for several months, which was completed in a few days.

Madhya Pradesh tops in availing Atmanirbhar package

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh should be the leader in availing benefits of the Rs 20 crore package announced by Prime Minister Shri Modi for the relief of various sections from the conditions arising due to Covid-19.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that registration of 7 lakh 30 thousand labourers on the Rozgar Setu portal in the state, initiatives for welfare of street vendors, reforms in power sector, One Nation-One Ration Card as well as online arrangements previously implemented in Madhya Pradesh such as Samadhan Online, Jan Sunwai, better utilization of minerals and other natural resources, implementation of housing schemes, ITI upgradation, global park, permanent construction works from MNREGA, development of new destinations in tourism sector, the achievements of better systems in medical education, school education and higher education can be repeated. Shri Chouhan hoped that the Innovation Challenge Portal will prove useful for working on aspects related to new schemes and innovative technology, along with the new ideas, measures and suggestions received regarding the current schemes. Suggestions will also be received from the general public for self-reliant Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that along with the suggestions from senior officers till June 30, measures for revenue enhancement and new methods related to good governance, tips for better functioning of departments will also be compiled.

Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains gave information about the format and utility of Madhya Pradesh Innovation Challenge Portal. Shri Bains said that global discussions have been held on the excellent ideas and innovations in Madhya Pradesh. Along with new suggestions, suggestions will be obtained regarding what changes are necessary in the current government system from the point of view of general public welfare through this portal. After these suggestions are scrutinized, action will be taken on the selected suggestions. This year the agenda of the brainstorming workshop will also be determined according to the suggestions received on this portal. Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Selvendran and Additional Secretary Shri Om Prakash Shrivastava were present in the meeting.
