Madhya Pradesh CM Chouhan to virtually dedicate 145 newly constructed educational buildings
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will virtually dedicate 145 newly constructed buildings of the Tribal Welfare Department and School Education Department costing Rs 497 crore 70 lakh in Minto Hall, Bhopal at 10.30 am on October 13. Among those who will take part in the programme are Public Works Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava, Tribal Welfare Minister Sushri Meena Singh from Umaria and Minister of State for School Education (Independent Charge) Shri Inder Singh Parmar.
Among the newly constructed educational buildings of the state which will be dedicated are 13 Specialized Residential Schools (Kanya Shiksha Parisar) costing Rs. 357 crore 9 lakh of the Tribal Welfare Department, 3 new hostel buildings of Rs. 4 crore 63 lakh and 129 high schools and higher secondary school buildings costing Rs 135 crore 98 lakhs of the Department of School Education. All the educational infrastructures to be dedicate are from the districts unaffected by elections. Construction works of districts where assembly by elections are being held are not included in the programme.
CM will interact with beneficiaries
During the dedication progarmme, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also interact with the beneficiaries and public representatives of Bhopal, Shajapur and Umaria districts regarding educational facilities.
Improved residential facilities will be made available to 6 thousand 370 girls of the tribal groups in the 13 Kanya Shiksha Parisars of the Tribal Welfare Department and 150 boys in 3 hostel buildings which are to be dedicated. The newly constructed 129 High and Higher Secondary Schools of the School Education Department are spread over 26 districts. About 21 thousand students will be benefited with the construction of these school buildings. School Education Department is also arranging furniture for these schools soon.
