Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurates Rozgar Setu portal

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Rozgar Setu Portal has been started by the Madhya Pradesh government to provide work to the migrant labourers who have returned to the state according to their skills and efficiency. All migrant labourers have been registered on the portal. Also, such employers who need skilled / unskilled labourers for various works have been registered.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that 7 lakh 30 thousand migrant labourers and 5 lakh 79 thousand members of their families have been registered on the portal, which means a total of 13 lakh 10 thousand labourers have been registered. Similarly, 5 thousand 246 employers / employment providers have been registered on the portal. On the very first day of the inauguration of the portal, it is a matter of pleasure that 79 labourers have been employment as per their skills.

Shri Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in India which has completed the survey of all migrant labourers. He congratulated Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Labour Dr. Rajesh Rajoura as well his staff and the staff of NIC for completing this task in a short period of 7 days.

CM interacts with labourers through video conferencing

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan interacted with migrant labourers from different districts through video conferencing after the inauguration of the employment portal. Shri Govind Prasad Chaurasia told that he used to work in a company in Mumbai. Due to Corona, he had to return to Madhya Pradesh. Now he has got a job in a company of Sagar at a salary of Rs 9 thousand 500 rupees per month through employment portal. Shri Satish of Bhopal was employed with a five star hotel in Maharashtra. Now he has got a job in Agya Enterprises, Bhopal. Shri Sunil Kakodia from Maharashtra got a job at Dilip Buildcom Bhopal. Similarly, Shri Rajesh Dhakad of Gwalior has got work in Sengar Security, Gwalior. Shri Devendra Chahar who used to work in a shoe factory in Agra, also got work in a security agency of Gwalior. Shri Shubham Yadav of Rishi Nagar Indore who used to work in Nashik, Maharashtra, has now got work in Asha Confectionery, Indore. Everyone thanked the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to all for their new work.

This is an online employment fair

Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains said that the Rozgar Setu Portal is an online employment fair. While on the one hand all the labourers are registered on the portal, on the other hand, different employers are registered. Employers can select labourers as per their requirements. The labourers can get their appointment letter through the portal.
