Madhya Pradesh CM to launch ‘Mukhya Mantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana’ on September 26

Bhopal : It is to be highlighted that an amount of Rs. 6 thousand is paid to every farmer in 3 equal installments in a year under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. On the lines of this scheme, Kisan Kalyan Yojana has been introduced in Madhya Pradesh and under the scheme, Samman Nidhi of Rs. 4 thousand will be paid by the state government to each beneficiary of the PM Kisan Yojana, in 2 equal installments in a year. Thus, every farmer will get Samman Nidhi of total Rs. 10 thousand every year.

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will duly launch the scheme at 10.40 a.m. at Minto Hall on September 26. Along with this, he will also hold talks with the farmers via video conferencing. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that there is always an adverse effect on agricultural production in case of a natural disaster. Hence, this scheme has been introduced in the interest of the farmers.
