Madhya Pradesh: Colleges affiliated to AYUSH department must develop smart room with autonomous fund

Bhopal : Minister of State for AYUSH Shri Ramkishore Kavre has said that all the colleges in the state affiliated to AYUSH department should develop smart rooms as per requirement from autonomous fund. Teachers should come to college and take online classes. He also instructed the professors and principal to take classes from time to time.

Shri Kavre was reviewing the activities of Ayurvedic, Homeopathy and Unani Colleges of the state at the Directorate of AYUSH on Thursday. Secretary and Commissioner Dr. M.K. Agarwal besides Principal and senior officials of the college were present at the meeting.

Minister of State Shri Kavre directed that a second webinar should be organized in the month of September, in which subject-experts should be included. Also, it should be kept in mind that webinars should be on different subjects. The Principal and AYUSH officers should also have information about the webinar. Webinars should be held at intervals of two or three days in a week.

Regarding online classes Shri Kavre instructed that the college principal should be informed whether teachers are taking online classes or not. Also, how many students are joining should also be monitored. He said that overall efforts should be made to increase the quality of college and education.

Minister of State Shri Kavre directed that efforts will also have to be made in the direction of research. Panchkarma- which is the identity of Ayush also needs special attention. Training of the massager should be organized for this. Pharmacists should also be informed about maintaining and distributing medicines. He said that attention will also have to be paid to the upgradation of Unani and Ayurvedic pharmacy. Also, the small pharmacies of all the colleges should be upgraded.

Discussion was also held on general meeting including time scale, probation period, annual confidential report, building construction, attachment, wellness center, cleanliness and security system in the meeting.
