Madhya Pradesh: Effective implementation of I.I.T.T. strategy must continue to tackle Corona
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that in order to prevent spread of Corona infection and reduce mortality rate in the state, effective implementation of the I.I.T.T (Identify, Isolate, Test and Treat) strategy should be continued. Currently the opening of the lockdown has resulted in a spurt of new Corona-infected patients, even slight carelessness may spread the infection. Therefore, all the collectors should work on the strategy with due care and caution in their respective districts. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that fever clinics should be made more effective in the entire state including Bhopal.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in the state today through video conferencing. Health Minister Shri Narottam Mishra, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Shukla were present on the occasion.
Investigate matter and take action against the culprits
With reference to the death of a Vallabh Bhavan employee from Covid, it was informed that he had gone to the Fever Clinic of J.P. Hospital where he was given medicines and sent back, but he was not tested. Later, when his condition deteiorated, he came back to the hospital but could not be saved. Taking the matter seriously, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed to investigate the matter promptly and take action against the culprits.
Fine of Rs 1 lakh 85 thousand imposed on 915 people
It was informed during the review of Bhopal district that a fine of Rs 1 lakh 85 thousand has been imposed on 915 people for not wearing masks and spitting in public.
Corona positivity rate of Madhya Pradesh is 4.42 percent
ACS Health Shri Suleman said that the Corona positivity rate of Madhya Pradesh is 4.42 percent, while in the whole country it is 5.51 percent. Our recovery rate is 68.8 percent, whereas in the entire country it is 49.1 percent. There are less than 10 Corona patients in 22 districts of the state and four districts including Alirajpur, Hoshangabad, Seoni and Sehore are Corona free. Our testing capacity is more than six thousand.
