Madhya Pradesh: Examinations for all Classes and Courses of Higher Education will be held
Bhopal : A meeting was held today at Raj Bhavan in connection with the examination dates for undergraduate, postgraduate classes and other courses under the chairmanship of Governor Shri Lalji Tandon. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan was also present in the meeting.
It was decided in the meeting that final year / semester examinations of undergraduate and postgraduate classes and courses of higher education will be held between June 29 and July 31 2020. This system will also be applicable to all private universities / colleges. Regular examinations of first year, second year classes / courses of higher education will be conducted subject to normalcy. The final year / semester examinations of undergraduate and postgraduate classes and courses will be held at the examination centers in offline mode. Social distancing precautions will be fully followed at the examination centers.
Students in the first and second year / semester of postgraduate and undergraduate classes and courses will be admitted to the next class in the new semester from September 1, 2020.
This year, the new session of the students seeking admission in the first year / semester of postgraduate and undergraduate classes / courses will start from October 1, 2020.
The final year / semester examinations of undergraduate and postgraduate classes of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya will be conducted between 16 and 30 June 2020. Examination of final year classes / courses will be done through traditional system. Their results will be declared by July 15, 2020.
In case the circumstances are not normal, the examinations will be conducted in online mode. The total duration of the online examination will be two hours. The question paper will be multiple choices. All examinations will be done in three shifts daily.
The examinations of the students of first, second and third year classes / semesters will be conducted by the university through the offline pen-paper mode between July 2 and July 31, 2020. The exam results will be declared by August 25, 2020. If a candidate is not able to appear for the exam due to unavoidable reasons, then a special examination will be conducted for him separately.
Principal Secretary Higher Education Mr. Anupam Rajan, Principal Secretary Technical Education Smt. Caralyn Khongwar and Governor’s Secretary Shri Manohar Dubey were also present in the meeting.
