Madhya Pradesh: More than two lakh people receive free treatment from 909 fever clinics
Bhopal : Over two lakh people have been provided free treatment so far through fever clinics at the initiative of the state government. In order to provide easy access to health facilities and essential medicines to the people of the state, 909 fever clinics were set up in the state in view of the decision taken by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
In view of Corona infection in the state, the state government has taken steps in every area to provide relief to every section. In this sequence, decision was taken to open fever clinic in all districts of the state to provide better health facilities. Fever clinics have emerged as an effective alternative system in the field of health.
So far, 2 lakh 10 thousand 309 people have not only been given the benefit of treatment, but they also have got the facility of medical consultation. Doctors are providing free consultation and treatment to people with cold, cough and fever in these clinics. As per the need, samples of suspected patients are also being taken.
In the 909 fever clinics being operated in the state, about 8 thousand 700 persons were provided free consultation and treatment in 130 fever clinics of Bhopal Division, 30 thousand in 107 clinics of Rewa Division, 20 thousand 238 in 141 clinics of Gwalior and Chambal division, 53 thousand 196 in 179 clinics in Jabalpur division, 49 thousand 295 in 71 fever clinics of Shahdol division, 29 thousand in 160 clinics of Indore Division, 13 thousand 316 in 111 clinics of Ujjain division, 11 thousand 83 in 86 clinics of Sagar division and 8 thousand 797 people in 35 fever clinics of Hoshangabad division.
