Madhya Pradesh: Public tableaus will not be put up during festivals
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that public tableaus will not be put up on festivals to prevent Corona infection in the state. Not more than 5 persons will be allowed to gather at places of worship at a time. Not more than 10 persons each from both the parties will be allowed to take part in marriages, engagements etc. Not more than 10 persons will be allowed to take part in birthday parties etc.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation of corona in the state and arrangements through video conferencing. On this occasion, Home, Jail, Parliamentary Affairs, Law Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary, Medical Education, Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman and others were present.
Celebrate festivals at home
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that to prevent spread of Corona infection, upcoming festivals must be celebrated at home. Idols must be installed at home and offered prayers. Permission will not be granted to install idols in public places and celebrate festivals.
Lockdown in infected colonies likely
In a review of Jabalpur district, it was found that infection has increased there in the last one week. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed that according to the decision of the District Disaster Management Group, lockdown in colonies, localities from where more cases are surfacing can be imposed again. General lockdown will not be imposed. The general lockdown should be imposed only once a week.
No positive case detected in Kill Corona campaign in Betul
In a review of Betul district, it was found that 1051 people were tested for Corona in the Kill Corona Campaign, in which no positive cases were found. There are currently 48 active patients there and 70 went back home after the recovery. The death rate is zero. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan issued instructions to maintain vigilance so that the infection does not spread.
Review with divisional commissioners
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan reviewed the Corona situation with all divisional commissioners of the state. They told the Chief Minister that it has been suggested in the meetings of the Crisis Management Group in their divisions, that there is danger of spread of infection in celebrating upcoming festivals in public, so the festivals should be celebrated at home.
