Madhya Pradesh: Rs 493.11 crore approved for 5 schemes of School Education Department

 

Bhopal : Five schemes to be implemented for coming three years 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 have been granted approval in principle at the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today. Total Rs 44.65 crores have been approved for making drinking water resources available in 3954 schools for Nal Jal Yojana and digging of handpumps. Total Rs 38.50 crore has been approved for running the Free Textbook Distribution Scheme for government school students. Rs 24. 96 crores has been approved for 312 Shikshak Awas Griha under the Shikshak Awas Griha(Security of girls hostels and security room) Yojana. Rs 180 crores has been approved for free uniform supply scheme for above BPL boys belonging to nearly 45 lakh unreserved and Other Backward Classes. Rs 205 rores has been approved for connecting the new literates after working literacy with Samtulyata evam Kaushal Vikas Karyakram in the next phase.

This sanction amounting to Rs 493.11 crore has been approved by the Cabinet for these five schemes.
