Madhya Pradesh: Students of Class IX and XI will get general promotion

Bhopal : In view of the severity of Corona infection, the School Education Department has granted General Promotion to the students of Class IXth and XIth of session 2019-2020. Instructions have been issued in this regard by Commissioner, Public Instructions Smt. Jaishree Kiyawat to the Joint Directors of all divisions and the District Education Officers of all the districts.

Smt. Kiyawat has said that students with supplementary eligibility should be promoted and passed in this period of unexpected infection period in the examination results declared for Class IX and XI of session 2019-2020 in all government high and higher secondary schools of the state. Also, in all non-government schools where the annual examinations of Class IX and XI have been completed on or before March 19 and the examination results have been declared or not, all students of Class IX and XI should be declared passed and given general promotion. Students with supplementary eligibility, as the case may be, admit admission from class 9th to 10th and class 11th to class 12th.so that students can concentrate and start preparing for the next class. The annual results, Progress Report/Marksheet/ Transfer Certificate of such students of all schools should be signed (in different coloured ink) by the Principal or Sankul Pracharya with regard to general promotion.

The students with supplementary eligibility should be informed in this connection and should be motivated to study for the next class by adding them to the Whatsapp group DigiLep of the next class.
