Mahaparinirvan diwas of Dr. Ambedkar observed at B’gam, Gbl, Spn, Kul
District Administrations pay rich tributes to Babasaheb for his great contribution
SRINAGAR : As part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ campaign, the District Administrations of various districts of Kashmir today observed Mahaparinirvan diwas to pay tributes to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his 66th death Anniversary.
On the occasion, the respective Deputy Commissioners highlighted the contribution of Dr. Ambedkar in designing and delivering important socio economic frameworks in the country.
At Budgam, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Shahbaz Mirza paid rich tributes to Babasahab during a function held at New Conference Hall, here. He said Babasahab was not only an economist, politician and social reformer but also considered as an ‘Architect’ and ‘The Father of the Indian Constitution’.
Among others ADDC, Akramullah Tak, District Programme Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, CDPO Budgam attended the programme.
The programme was also attended by supervisors of ICDS, Anganwadi workers and officials from Social Welfare and other offices.
During the function, a floral tribute was also given to Babasahab.
On the occasion, DSWO Dr Farhana signified the contribution of Babasaheb and deliberated thoroughly on Dr Ambedkar Foundation Schemes and Programmes of the Foundation.
She spoke on the schemes including Dr. Ambedkar Medical Aid Scheme, Dr. Ambedkar National Relief Schedule Caste Victims of Atrocities, Dr. Ambedkar Scheme for Social Integration through Inter- Caste Marriage, Dr. Ambedkar Scheme of celebration of birth/ death anniversary of Great Saints in English, Dr. Ambedkar Foundation National Essay Competition Scheme, Dr. Ambedkar International Centre and Dr. Ambedkar National Merit Award for Senior Secondary Examination.
At Ganderbal, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba today paid floral tributes to Dr. B.R Ambedkar during an event organised to observe Mahaparinirvan Diwas held at Mini Secretariat Complex Ganderbal.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADC highlighted the contribution of
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in drafting the world’s largest written Constitution of India.
Chief Planning officer, Irfan Giri, DSWO and other district officers and officials were present on the occasion.
At Shopian, In line with the original spirit of the famous slogan ‘Baba Sahib Amar Rahe’, the District Administration Shopian today paid tributes to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, here.
The commemoration ceremony was held under the Chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani.
On the occasion, ADC said that Dr. B.R Ambedkar was the Chief Architect of the Indian Constitution. He while throwing light on the life and teachings of Babsaheb, he said that his fight against social discrimination and upliftment of low caste, women and labor class shall be always remembered as his great contribution to the entire nation.
All the Officials/Officers were present.
At Kulgam, a function was held to pay rich tributes to Babsahab for his great contribution towards the nation during Mahaparinirvan diwas of at mini-secretariat Kulgam.
On the occasion, it was observed that Babasahab was not only great economist, politician and social reformer but also considered as an ‘Architect’ and ‘The Father of the Indian Constitution’.
ADDC, Riyaz Ahmad Sofi, ADC, Showkat Ahmad Rather, ACR and other officers and officials attended the function.
During the function, a floral tribute was also given to the Babasahab.
