MAHE and Eplan Software Pvt. Ltd. Forge Strategic Partnership to Propel Engineering Innovation

New MoU Enhances MIT’s Formula Manipal Team with Advanced Electrical Design Capabilities

Manipal : Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) is proud to announce their partnership with Eplan Software Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant step forward towards mutual collaboration.

Eplan, a global leader in Mechatronics, Automation, and Electrical engineering solutions, has been serving customers across 50 countries since 1984. Renowned for their Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) solutions, Eplan’s tools are widely recognized and used in industries such as Automation, Machine Tools, Oil and Gas, Automotive, Aerospace, and Shipbuilding. Their solutions help companies optimize engineering processes for increased efficiency.

As part of this collaboration, Eplan Software Pvt. Ltd. has generously sponsored the requisite Eplan licenses to the Formula Manipal Teams at MIT. These licenses will be pivotal in the electrical schematic and wire harness design of the electric Formula Racing Car currently being developed at MIT. With the assistance of Eplan software, the Formula Manipal Team is confident in achieving a superior design and layout for their vehicle’s electrical system, boosting their performance in the various upcoming Formula Student and Formula Bharat events this year.

During the signing of the MoU, Dr. P. Giridhar Kini, Registrar, MAHE, Dr. Somashekara Bhat, Joint Director, MIT, Prof. Nagaraja, Consultant, Students’ Major Projects, MIT and Dr. Prateek Jain, Faculty Advisor, Formula Manipal Team, MIT were present from MAHE and MIT. From Eplan Sotware Pvt. Ltd., Umesh Pai, Managing Director, Eplan Software Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore and Mukund Kulkarni, Business Head – Channel & Education, Eplan Software Pvt. Ltd. graced the event with their presence.
