Mahina Mehmood and Tamkeen Fatima awarded with Papa Mian award

ALIGARH November 30: Mahina Mehmood and Tamkeen Fatima, toppers of the class XII examination in academic sessions 2017-18 and 2018-19, respectively, have been awarded with the Papa Mian award for their exemplary achievement.

Giving away the award at a function held at the Senior Secondary School (Girls), Prof Asfar Ali Khan, Director, Directorate of School Education, Aligarh Muslim University urged the students to make efforts to achieve excellence and vie for bigger successes in life.

Prof Abid Ali Khan, Deputy Director and Prof Anwar Shahzad, Assistant Director also addressed the students.

Mrs Naghma Irfan, Principal, while presenting the annual report, appreciated students’ achievements.

The winners of various literary and cultural programmes and science week events were felicitated with prizes. The girl students presented a colourful cultural programme on the occasion.
