MAL organises Awareness Program on QuilBot
Aligarh : The Maulana Azad Library, AMU in collaboration with QuillBot, Jaipur organized an online user awareness programme on “QuillBot: A tool for plagiarism, paraphrasing, grammar checking, citation and summarizing text” for faculty members, research scholars, and students of the university on 27th June. The main objective of the program was to increase awareness about the Research Support Services (RSS) provided by MA Library. Around 280 participants attended the Online User Awareness Program on QuilBot.
Prof Nishat Fatima, University Librarian, Maulana Azad Library gave a brief introduction of the program and informed that the M A Library is providing various Research Support Services to students of AMU. She also talked about the importance and use of academic writing tools for researchers and academic professionals.
Syed Shaz Husain, an Assistant Librarian, gave a presentation on Research Support Services being offered by Maulana Azad Library. He gave a live presentation of the library’s website and how the users can have access to various services.
Mr Aman Jain and Ms Gul Saba were the resource persons from QuillBot, who highlighted its services and gave live demo of the tool and its various sections like plagiarism checker, paraphraser, grammer checking, citation and summarizing a document.
Ms Gul Saba explained how to get access to the premium version of QuillBot Tool. QuillBot paraphrasing tool helps rewrite and enhance any sentence, paragraph, or article using artificial intelligence (AI) said Ms. Gul Saba. Mr. Aman Jain resolved several queries of the scholars one by one.
Dr Daud Khan, Assistant Librarian, proposed a vote of thanks and the programme was coordinated by Dr Monawwer Eqbal, Deputy Librarian.
