Management from Non-Corporate Lens -IIM Kashipur MBA Series

Kashipur: IIM Kashipur has launched a new initiative, “MBA Series”- a webinar series organized by the Academic Committee of IIM Kashipur. The series is designed to impart knowledge to the students from pioneers of different field who have gone beyond their way for the development of the society. The theme of the series revolves around “Management from a Non-Corporate lens”. The session was honored by the esteemed presence of Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, the Chairperson of AICTE who has received numerous awards like the Maha-Intrapreneur Award 2011 of Praj Industries, Edupreneur Award 2013 from Engineering Watch, and has a teaching experience of over two decades. He is also highly respected for his commendable service in the field of education. The session was opened by the Chair MBA of IIM Kashipur, Prof. Abhradeep Maiti.

Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe focused on the importance of financial management, time management, people management, and teamwork. He said, “Students should pick up small examples from real-life scenarios, fabricate case studies out of them and enrich their management skills and also imbibe the culture of experiential and limitless learning”.

“Management Institutes should focus on Indian case studies like the story of Dabbawala which teaches the concept of supply chain management with utmost accuracy.”

It was an interactive session where the guest addressed the queries of students and answered them using real-life scenarios. The session was concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by the Chair Experiential Learning, Prof. Vaibhav Bhamoriya.
