Managing Director JKPCC inspects work progress on New Legislature Complex

JAMMU : Managing Director Jammu Kashmir Project Construction Corporation (JKPCC) Rajesh K Shavan today inspected the pace of progress of the construction work on the New Legislature Complex here at Civil Secretariat Jammu.

He was accompanied by ED (Chief Engineer) JKPCC, Er. P.K Sharma, GM Jammu Er. M.A Wani, DGM Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and other staff members associated with the project.

The Managing Director took review of the completed and balanced work on ground and issued necessary instructions for demarcation of land required for the project by Revenue Authorities, revival of existing contracts with contractors / Consultants immediately, tenders for balance work etc.

Instructions were given to the ED & site engineers to immediately prepare the BOQ in coordination with Consultants and explore possibilities of developing the legislative council hall as a multipurpose hall with a separate entry.

The Managing Director was apprised about the state of the art electromechanical components to be installed in the assembly complex by the ED.

The engineers were directed to make all necessary arrangements to resume the work in double shifts so that the work was completed by July 2022.
