Manipal Hospitals, Ghaziabad organizes a yoga session on International Yoga Day
Ghaziabad : Yoga is the best way to stay healthy. It not only helps people in becoming more aware of their inner selves, but it also aids in the development of mental and physical strength. After the UNGA officially declared June 21st as International Yoga Day, yoga has gained massive prominence across the globe. To create awareness around the importance of yoga, Manipal Hospitals Ghaziabad, in association with Delhi Public School Ghaziabad International and Residents Welfare Association Govind Puram organized a yoga session today. This session was conducted by renowned Yogacharya Dr. Saroj Sirohi.
The session took place between 6 and 8 a.m. at Govind Puram Extension, Ghaziabad. More than 200 people participated, including hospital staff, students, and residents of Govind Puram. To encourage people for yoga, honorary guests Mr. Somvir Sohini and Mr. Amit Dabas, councilors of Govind Puram, as well as special guest Mr. Rajeev Tyagi, Tulsiman, also participated in this session.
On this occasion, Mr. Atul Behll, Hospital Director, Manipal Hospitals, Ghaziabad, said, “Yoga has been praised as one of the most important and powerful workouts for restoring mind, body, and soul throughout history. We at Manipal Hospital Ghaziabad have organized this yoga session in collaboration with DPS Ghaziabad International on International Yoga Day to raise community awareness about the benefits of practicing yoga.
