Manish Mehan, thyssenkrupp Elevator (India)‘s, CEO & MD wins Master Entrepreneur Award at the prestigious APEA 2020
Pune: thyssenkrupp Elevator (India) today announced that Manish Mehan, its CEO & MD has been conferred with the Master Entrepreneur Award at the prestigious Asia Pacific Enterprise Award (APEA) 2020 under Engineering Industry Category, for his remarkable contribution to the growth of thyssenkrupp Elevator in India while also fulfilling his social responsibilities.
Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards is one of the most prestigious regional award recognition programme. It felicitates industry leading entrepreneurs and organizations across the region, who spur greater innovation, fair practises and entrepreneurship development. The APEA has a stringent entry criteria and highly competitive judging parameters.
With the theme of “Accelerating Growth Beyond Borders”, the regional edition aims to gather business leaders and organisations from over 14 countries into one unparalleled platform in fostering the continuity of sustainable entrepreneurial growth in Asian economies without limitation.
Manish Mehan expressed his gratitude for being honored with the Master Entrepreneur Award at APEA 2020. As the CEO and MD of thyssenkrupp Elevator (India), Manish has restructured the business by introducing organizational changes, leadership changes and strengthening branches to build a sustainable organization. He has steered key strategic initiatives such as “elevate India”, a business transformation project, which led to improved business performance such as spare part business excellence, segment specific business growth, process improvement through digitalization and automation.
He has also increased focus on in-house R&D initiatives, and spearheaded the digitization drive across the business functions. Under his able leadership the organization has further strengthened its market position by winning landmark projects across segments comprising one of the largest convention centre, biggest township, aviation projects, largest mall, and high-rise projects in India.
Manish is a visionary, who is constantly working towards a smarter, sustainable, and innovative future for the organization. Being a transparent, people-oriented, and result-driven Business Head, he is an expert in accelerating growth in both organic and inorganic ways. Manish enjoys a cross functional, rich exprience of over 18 years in finance, operations, IT, HR, sales, and marketing, amongst others.
