Martial arts championship held at Shopian

Shopian: Martial Arts Championship 2019-20, Kick Boxing and SQAY Demonstration programme was organized, here today.
The Deputy Commissioner, Shopian Chaudary Mohammad Yasin was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Among others, CO 53 RR Budgam, CO 62 RR Shopian, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Shopian and score of students took part in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC appreciated the talent and performance of the participating students. He exhorted upon the Youth Services and Sports Department to organize such sports event in the district to inculcate sport culture among youth.
Later, prizes were distributed among the best performers and students who bagged positions recent JKBOSE exams were also facilitated on the occasion.
