MathWorks Collaborates with DesignTech and IEEE Rajasthan Subsection to Power Pedagogy in AI and EV

 

Jaipur MathWorks, the leading developer of mathematical computing software, collaborated with DesignTech Systems India and IEEE Rajasthan Subsection on a day-long seminar, “Powering Pedagogy – Seminar on Electric Mobility and Artificial Intelligence in Education,” on the emerging trends of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Electric Vehicles (EV). More than 70 academicians, researchers, and industry professionals attended the Radisson Blu, Jaipur event on July 31, 2024. The IEEE Jaipur Subsection covers the Rajasthan region and works to create opportunities to advance technology in the education ecosystem.

Prof. D. Boolchandani, an Electronics and Communication Engineering professor at MNIT Jaipur and Chair of the IEEE Rajasthan Subsection, said, “The seminar in Jaipur underscores our commitment to fostering knowledge exchange, supported by partnerships with MathWorks, and equipping professionals with the tools and insights needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving engineering landscape.”

Prof. N. P. Padhy, Chairperson (I/C) BOG, Director, MNIT Jaipur, delivered the academic keynote at the seminar. During the event, MathWorks experts covered various topics, including how MATLAB® and Simulink® propel AI and EV system-level development, AI in engineering applications, interoperability with Python for AI applications, and teaching guidelines for developing essential EV modeling and simulation skills. In addition, the LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT) was awarded the MathWorks Credentialing plaque, along with certificates awarded to the Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering departments for their faculty, staff, and researchers’ commitment to academic excellence and industry collaboration through their usage of MATLAB and Simulink.
