MDI Gurgaon commences Fellowship Programme in Management 2020 Batch

Gurgaon: Motivating the new batch of research scholars on the crucial role of research and development in the business environment, MDI Gurgaon conducted a virtual Inaugural and Induction Programme for its 2020 Batch of Fellowship Programme in Management.

The Chief Speaker of the inaugural Ceremony, Prof. Prem Vrat, Pro-Chancellor, Professor of Eminence, and Chief Mentor at The NorthCap University, Gurugram, enlightened scholars on the new chapter of academic life that the students will be embarking on.

Prof. Prem Vrat spoke about the role of academic research in the growth and development of any business as well as in building strong academia-industry relations. He said, “As a research scholar, you should work on understanding critical aspects of research topic, discover new facts of existing systems as well as add new knowledge/dimension maintaining academic ethics”.

The virtual induction ceremony attended by participants from the new batch along with faculty members from MDI Gurgaon ended with a vote of thanks from Prof. Vishal Narain, Chairperson – Fellowship Programme. He endorsed the observations made by Dr. Prem Vrat and said that it would serve as a good orientation for the scholars’ research journey. The research process is an exciting process that entails several epistemological and ontological choices along with issues of ethics and data management, while acknowledging the different cumulative influences on the shaping of the research.
