Meeting with students of the motor transport technical school

Students of the Petrozavodsk Motor Transport College not only manage to successfully study and practice in the field of their chosen specialty, but also think about continuing their education, in particular, about entering a university.
Teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages in the Humanities of PetrSU O.V. Vikulina and T.M. Tatarina held an online career guidance meeting for 2nd year students of the specialty “Construction and Operation of Roads and Airfields” of the Petrozavodsk Motor Transport College, during which they introduced them to the advantages of studying at Petrozavodsk State University.

It was interesting for the students to find out in what areas of training they could continue their studies, what are the conditions for entering a university after a technical school, what is necessary for living in a hostel and what types of scholarships exist.

The teachers also introduced future applicants to the structure of the PetrSU website, told how to find information about admission to various areas of training, about entrance examinations, and provided contact information for the selection committee.

Petrozavodsk State University and the Motor Transport Technical School have long been linked by cooperation relations. PetrSU offers ample opportunities for graduates of technical schools and colleges who wish to continue their studies in the same or related specialty, as well as choose a new direction of training. Special attention of the students of the technical school was attracted by such areas of training as “Construction of highways” and “Operation of transport and technological machines and complexes” .

PetrSU teachers are grateful to Svetlana Yurievna Belyaeva, teacher of the Petrozavodsk motor transport technical school, for her assistance in organizing a career guidance conversation.
