Mega Internship drive at Amity Mumbai Campus, attracted big corporates for talent
The Corporate Resource Centre of Amity University, Mumbai, organised a Mega Internship Drive on campus for students of all disciplines. The aim of the event was to provide a wide range of internship opportunities to all enrolled students. This year, CRS invited more than 70 companies. A total of 241 students were selected during the two-day interviews. Major companies like Shoppers Stop, Tata Strive Ltd, Inditex Ltd (Zara), InCorp Advisory Pvt Ltd, Lonexcgange Ltd, Reliance General Ltd, SATS foods India & Airtel Payment Bank were part of the internship drive.
Commenting on the drive, Prof. (Dr.) A W Santhosh Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Mumbai, said, “Internship is an opportunity for every student to understand and work closely with the industry. We at Amity University, Mumbai, always motivate our students to participate in such life changing activities. An internship is the first step towards a successful career. I wish all the best to all the students who have been selected for the internship. I am sure our students will shine in all corners of the world.”
The recruiting personnel, from top-notch organisations and brands of different industries, were impressed by the enthusiastic participation of students. With a promise to come back with better opportunities for internships and placements, the organisations bid adieu, leaving behind a satisfied note.
