Mega Youth Carnival commences in Reasi

REASI: Mega Youth Carnival was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Babila Rakwal at Rama Kunda in Thuroo today. The event witnessed a large gathering of youth, officers from the Indian Army and Police, and the general public.

The festival provided a platform for the youth of Reasi district to showcase their talents and skills in cultural and sports activities. The day’s events included Kabaddi, Tug of War, Volleyball, horse riding, and other cultural activities.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasised the significance of the event, stating that it would encourage sports and cultural activities in the district. She urged the organisers to create more opportunities for youth to showcase their talents and skills and to support their growth and development. She also advised the youth to make these activities as part of their day-to-day lives.

The Deputy Commissioner acknowledged the efforts of the SDM Mahore, the Army and Police, who successfully planned and organised the event in such a picturesque and far-flung area of the district.

She also thanked all the organisers, participants and especially the youth of the area for making the event a grand success.
