Mela on “Be Rozgar Se Swarozgar Yojana” held at Block Chittergul Anantnag

ANANTNAG : A mega mela under the theme ‘Berozgaar se Swa-Rozgar” was held at BHQ Chittergul. At the occassion, a gathering of enthusiastic young entrepreneur was sensitized about the different schemes run through different line departments , eligibilty criteria, choice of business they can opt and avenues in different schemes for self employment. Around 300 local youth’s participated in the mela with enthusiasm.

An interactive question answer session was held wherein questions regarding schemes were asked to the govt official and all queries answered on spot.

It is worth mentioning that under identification of ”5 youth’s per panchayat ” around 118 youth’s have been so far identified from 15 Panchayats of block Chittergul and they are being tied up with the line departments so that they can successfully set up their own enterprenership ventures.

Under the theme ‘ Yogyata se Rozgaar Mahotsav” ,Six (06) newly recruited /appointed govt. employees were felicitated.

Many i-cards were issued to youth’s who will now become eligible to participate in online tendering process of District Capex Plan under 3 lac ceiling in their respective Panchayats. This will ensure that local youth’s will get a chance to earn livelihood.

The programme was attended by ACD Anantnag, officials from revenue, RDD and other line departments along with members from civil society.
