Meritorious students felicitated in Poonch

Poonch: Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Yadav today felicitated the toppers of Class X, here in his office.
The felicitation programme was organized under Beti Bacho, Beti Padhao campaign in collaboration with the district administration.
The DC, while congratulating the students urged them to take small steps towards their goal every day.
Lauding their achievement in the board exams, the DC stressed that it is just the beginning and they need to continue with the same perseverance, determination and hard work, as the greater milestone awaits them.
The DC handed over cheque awards Rs 10,000 each to the first five toppers of the district, Rs 5000 each to other six girls under Beti Bachao,Beti Padhao campaign. He also handed over Rs 5000 each to four boys who also excelled in the board exams.
