MNCs hired 55 AMU students since April

Aligarh: Even as the Covid-19 pandemic impacted campus placements adversely throughout the country, 55 Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) students from across disciplines have secured employment in well known Multi-National Companies (MNCs) since April 2020.

The hired graduates and post-graduates are from various branches of engineering sciences, computer sciences, management, basic sciences and other fields, said M Farhan Saeed, Training and Placement Officer, Z H College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

He added: “MNCs such as Stepping Cloud, RNF Technologies, Jio Platforms, OPTUM, Canny Alley Tech, Hexaview, Tejas Networks, Utsayan Motors, Gepdec Infratech, Reliance Jio, Dhampur Sugar Mills and Virtusa Consulting Services were engaged in virtual campus placement drives and conducting online assessment tests and video interviews to hire AMU students since the Coronavirus lockdown began.”
