MobilityXlab launches Future Mobility Awards

 

New Delhi: MobilityXlab, a collaboration platform for mobility and transportation solutions today announced the launch of MobilityXlab Future Mobility Awards. Developed in collaboration with MathWorks, the U.S.-based developer of software for scientists and engineers, the award is aimed at recognizing startups and scaleups working towards transforming the mobility and transportation industry. The award is now open for submissions from global startups and scaleups with a deadline of August 21.

“MobilityXlab Future Mobility Awards highlights startups and scaleups, companies that innovate and transform the mobility and transportation industry. They deserve to be recognized for trying to improve the future for all of us!” – Katarina Brud, Director MobilityXlab.

MobilityXlab Future Mobility Awards is global, and submissions are welcome from startups and scaleups anywhere in the world. To qualify for application the company has to be registered and promote future mobility. Entries will be accepted across four key categories:

Sustainability
AI for Safety
Connectivity
Virtual Development
The winning company in each category will receive prizes supported by MathWorks, including a sum of US$ 2,000, and an opportunity to speak at MathWorks Automotive Conference 2021. In addition, the winners will also receive exclusive coaching sessions from the MobilityXlab’s industry partners. The award ceremony will be held on October 6 at Lindholmen, Gothenburg. There will also be possibilities to attend the event online.

By applying, all startups and scaleups will have their entries reviewed by leaders from leading global brands in the transport industry: CEVT, Ericsson, Veoneer, Volvo Cars, Volvo Group, Zenuity and MathWorks, and get the opportunity to connect with leaders and innovators in these organizations.

The judging panel consists of: Anna Westerberg, SVP Volvo Group Connected Solutions, Nishant Batra, CTO Veoneer, Dennis Nobelius, CEO Zenuity, Kiva Allgood, VP IoT Ericsson och Chris Hayhurst, European Consulting Lead, MathWorks. Additional judges will be announced later on.
