Monash University and Thermo Fisher Scientific Enhance Strategic Collaboration

Marking an exciting new chapter in a long-standing relationship, Monash University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Thermo Fisher Scientific (Thermo Fisher) with the intention of accelerating scientific advancements, fostering social responsibility and championing educational excellence.

Thermo Fisher is a global leader in medical equipment, analytical instruments, reagents, consumables, software and services, offering solutions for cellular analysis, flow cytometry and synthetic biology. Monash and Thermo Fisher have a robust history of collaboration, with Thermo Fisher recognised as a trusted vendor across the University’s faculties.

Thermo Fisher and Monash’s strengthened alliance underscores their commitment to leveraging their combined expertise for the benefit of society and the scientific community. With a focus on research, development and innovation, the collaboration seeks to improve research infrastructure and provide educational exchanges such as internships and workshops. Additionally, it emphasises values-based initiatives aligned with environmental, social and governance standards, corporate social responsibility, and Indigenous allyship.
