Monash University Health Service receives new allocation of COVID-19 vaccinations
Monash University Health Service (UHS) has received a new allocation of the Pfizer vaccine, allowing Monash staff and students aged between 40-59 years, and those who meet the eligibility criteria in Phase 1A and 1B (as per government guidelines), including our students on clinical placements, to book an appointment at our dedicated University Vaccination Clinic adjacent to UHS Clayton.
UHS will have the capacity to provide 300 first dose Pfizer appointments each fortnight at the new clinic. As supply from the Department of Health increases, UHS will increase appointment capacity accordingly.
UHS continues to vaccinate members of the Monash community, including family and friends, who are 60 years of age and over with AstraZeneca at our Clayton, Caulfield and Peninsula campuses.
Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice-President Mr Peter Marshall AM said: “This is welcome news as we continue to support the government in the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccination program to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of the Monash and wider community.”
