More than 9500 Students from Tamil Nadu participated in the Rosatom’s “Precise Energy 2023” the Olympiad

Chennai – Preliminary stage of the Olympiad in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics “Precise Energy 2023”, organized by Russian Nuclear State Corporation “Rosatom”, has started on 13 July at the leading educational institutions of Tamil Nadu. More than 9500 participated in the event: 6000 schoolchildren from 50 schools of Chennai & 3500 students from 30 colleges and universities of Chennai, Coimbatore, Pondicherry, Tirunelveli, Villupuram, Kanyakumari took part in the first round.

The Olympiad is conducted annually and is organized to promote science and technology, as well as to encourage talented youth of Tamil Nadu to pursue carrier in the field of Nuclear Technologies.

The ASE JSC (the general designer and general contractor of Kudankulam NPP) together with ANO Energy of Future traditionally holds the Olympiad “Precise Energy” in the partnership with the Russian House in Chennai, Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPI) and Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre.

The best performing students from the first round will be selected for the final stage, which is held in Chennai on 24-26 July. The top 3 students in each discipline will be awarded with valuable prizes.
