The Moscow publishing house “At Nikitskiye Vorota” published a book by Olga Shcherbakova, a graduate of the Medical Institute of PetrSU.

The foreword to the book was written by Anna Aleksandrovna Skoropadskaya, Associate Professor of the Department of Classical Philology, Russian Literature and Journalism of PetrSU.

Greek myths served as inspiration for the author of the book for their poetic arrangement. Simple poetic form and subtle humorous remarks complement ancient mythological plots and make them interesting for both children and adults. Brief historical references help to orient oneself in geographical and historical realities, and wonderful illustrations also offer the author’s vision of the artists – Natalia Subbotina and Ekaterina Shangitova.

The book is recommended for reading aloud by parents and children.
