MRG School organizes a drive thru celebration this Republic Day

Rohini: MRG School, Rohini organized A Drive Thru Celebration- ‘Amor Patriae’ on the occasion of India’s 72nd Republic Day on 25th January 2021 in the school campus. To keep the patriotic fervor kindling, the event was organized befitting the current scenario of the pandemic and keeping in mind all the social distancing norms. The scintillating day welcomed the excited students and their parents who were all set in their cars to experience the jingoistic vibe that could be felt in every nook and corner of the institution. The students extended their heartfelt gratitude towards the leaders and freedom fighters by gracing the event with their alluring costumes of Indian Army, Freedom Fighters and Indian Scientists.

The assemblage of art work submitted by the students was indeed treasuring. The School Principal, Ms. Priyanka Barara, unfurled the flag which was followed by the National Anthem. The patriotic vibe echoed the entire campus through the alluring tableaus, illustrations spotlighting the cultural beauty of Indian States and euphoric patriotic tunes which were sung mellifluously. It was an eventful day that showcased the school’s core value-expressing gratitude and appreciating our nation and helped in creating the memories which will be cherished forever!

Ms. Priyanka Barara, Principal,MRG School, explaining the celebration theme for Republic Day, said, “ We came up with this drive through theme for the Republic Day in order to host a unique celebration that promises safety and security of the students and teachers. The students were excited to be back in their school campus, and become a part of this Republic Day event in their fancy attires.”
