Ms JAYANTI DALMIA TAKES OVER AS THE NEW NATIONAL PRESIDENT OF FICCI LADIES ORGANISATION (FLO)

New Delhi :  Ms Jayanti Dalmia has taken over as new president of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) , the oldest women business chamber of the Southeast Asia and the women’s wing of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI)  at the recently held 38th annual session in New Delhi.

Today Dalmia Group has progressed into a dynamic and globally progressive corporate entity with an annual turnover of over Rs.2500 Crores, with the flagship company being Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Limited (GHCL). Some of the core areas of the group are Textiles Spinning, Weaving, Fabric Processing, Cut & Sew and Finishing. Heavy Chemicals.

Group’s other sectors being Soda Ash, Edible & Industrial Salt. Healthcare ,Alternative Healthcare Solutions with medical solutions for Lung Care, Diabetes, Arthritis, Kidney Stones, Mental Deficiency, ADHD , ITES  and Business Process Outsourcing.

A philanthropist at heart  Jayanti Dalmia has spearheaded and supported multiple social and causes. Besides business, Mrs Dalmia is keenly involved in various social activities. She  is the founder & Chairperson of Four Steps, a Research, Training & Rehabilitation Institute for persons with special needs. She has successfully turned its Vocational Training division into a vibrant manufacturing unit which churns out various paper, craft and bakery products in sizable quantities.

She is also Jt. Managing Trustee of Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Santhan, Mathura – A temple of utmost historic importance, and member of Advisory Board of Disha Foundation, Jaipur.

Ms Jayanti Dalmia’s  diligent approach to business and her conscientious initiatives towards the society has been a testimony of her Leadership skills and traits. Development of entrepreneurship among women has been central to FLO’s philosophy and mission.
